Course Description
The Data Management Fundamentals three-day onsite or live, online training addresses all of the Data Management disciplines as defined in the industry standard, DAMA International Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK v2). Taught by a certified and approved DAMA instructor, this course provides a solid foundation of the different disciplines across the complete Data Management spectrum.

Course Modules
DAMA DMBOK Part 1
During this first day, we will discuss the new role of Data (“data as an asset”). The development of the Modern Data Architecture and the far-reaching personalization of Data & Analytics requires (much) more control over data. DAMA DMBOK provides tools to create this grip.
On this day we will explore the backgrounds of DMBOK as a framework and deepen the content of the topics Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence, Metadata & Master Data.
The day will be concluded with a workshop in groups of 4 participants to immediately translate what has been learned into your own practice.
