Informatica & The Job Market
Informatica jobs for developers, analysts and data engineers may require specific educational and skills qualifications depending on the employer.
In an Informatica developer role, you would utilise Informatica software to create and manage data storage warehouses and systems. Informatica developers ensure that large amounts of data are stored properly and can be easily accessed and integrated by relevant team members. Additionally, they troubleshoot to identify database errors and regularly test databases to ensure accurate storage of new information.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, individuals working as database administrators or architects typically hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and often need certification in the specific products they use at work. Additionally, these professionals may require knowledge of database languages, such as Structured Query Language (SQL), which can be developed further through one of our Microsoft SQL Server Classes.
