Course Description
We offer a 3-day (24-hour) Tableau Desktop Bootcamp training class designed to take users from beginner to more advanced levels. Our most popular Tableau training is a combination of the official two-day Desktop I: Fundamentals and two-day Desktop II: Intermediate curriculums which can be taken separately. It is for anyone who works with data – regardless of technical or analytical background.
This training class covers Tableau Desktop and Tableau Public functionality via a live instructor-led online classroom. You can also book a private group session online and onsite in your office.
All delegates receive extensive course materials (student guides and labs) and access to a licensed environment for hands-on labs. For our live instructor-led online training, we use WebEx meetings for all interaction: to view the trainer screen, audio communication, ask questions and lab support. You can also email the trainer or set up 1-1 meetings for additional support.
When you complete this course, you will be able to:
- Connect to data and edit a data source.
- Build interactive dashboards to reveal data insights, using techniques for guided analytics, interactive dashboard design and visual best practices.
- Sort, filter and group data. Use the Tableau workspace to create a range of essential and advanced chart types for analysis.
- Combine data from multiple tables using joins, unions and relationships.
- Create basic and more advanced calculations, including table calculations, to modify data as needed for analysis.
- Use parameters and input controls to support audience analysis.
- Describe how to share and publish visualizations.
and much more…
