Course Description
This two-day Tableau Fundamentals training (Tableau Desktop I: Fundamentals – TTD101) is designed for the beginner-level Tableau user. It is for anyone who works with data – regardless of technical or analytical background. This Tableau Desktop Fundamentals course is designed to help you understand the important concepts and techniques used in Tableau to move from simple to complex visualizations and learn how to combine them in interactive dashboards. This course will include extensive hands-on activities to re-enforce the skills and knowledge attained. All delegates receive course materials and access to our licensed Tableau environment for hands-on labs.
Our online Tableau classes are offered via a Live Instructor-led Virtual Classroom with hands-on labs and on-going Q&A with the certified trainer. For larger teams (6 plus), classes can also be offered onsite at your office or a preferred location.
When you complete this class, you will be able to:
- Connect to data to edit its source.
- Gather data for sorting, filtering, and grouping.
- Use the Tableau workspace to create visualizations.
- Build a range of essential chart types for analysis.
- Create basic calculations, including quick table calculations.
- Design interactive dashboards to reveal data insights.
