Course Description
Our custom 4-day Power BI training will discuss the various methods and best practices that are in line with business and technical requirements for modeling, visualizing, and analyzing data with Power BI.
The PL-300 (3-day) and the add-on DA-100 (1-day) class cover the same content over the first three days. The additional 8 hours provides more of the trainer’s time for to go through some more advanced topics and Q&A to discuss your business needs.
This Power BI training will also show how to access and process data from a range of data sources including both relational and non-relational data. This course will also explore how to implement proper security standards and policies across the Power BI spectrum including datasets and groups. The course will also discuss how to manage and deploy reports and dashboards for sharing and content distribution. Finally, this course will show how to build paginated reports within the Power BI service and publish them to a workspace for inclusion within Power BI.
This Power BI class will ultimately prepare students for the official PL-300 exam. On February 28, 2022, the Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate certification (DA-100) was renamed to Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification (PL-300). For more information click here
