SAP BusinessObjects have been procured by the San Francisco 49ers in what they are calling the ‘Executive Huddle’. This notorious American football team are going to use this real-time data analytics and data visualization tool to improve efficiency within the Levi’s Stadium. The main aim from the 49ers is to improve the fans experience. The organization plan to fully utilize the real-time properties of this software to make more informed decision on the day of play, rather than a day later. The platform is able to take data from a variety of sources e.g. parking, ticketing, retail, social media and more. This information can then be analyzed by the Executive Huddle team and actions can be taken immediately to improve the fans experience and the stadium operations. In the early roll out of the Executive Huddle the data analyzed the way fans enter the stadium, the team could then relocate resources and reduce waiting times.
