Course Description
Gain the skills necessary to use PowerExchange Client to create Data Maps, use SQL Syntax, process VSAM, DB2, SQL Server data, and integrate PowerExchange and PowerCenter. Learn to deliver data on demand in batch and Change Data Capture (CDC) modes using PowerExchange with Oracle, SQL Server, and AS400 DB2. Applicable for software version 10.2
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Discuss PowerExchange benefits and architecture
- Use the Navigator to create data maps for flat files, and VSAM.
- Create data maps for complex non-relational files
- Create personal metadata
- Create registrations for DB2
